Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That includes semantic structure, visible focus, sufficient color contrast for text and user interface components, descriptive headings and link text, and forms that work with screen readers and the keyboard alone.

Feedback and assistance

If you cannot access part of this website, need information in another format, or want to report a barrier, please contact us:

We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within a few business days and to propose a reasonable timeline for remediation when a fix requires development or vendor coordination.

Supported technology

This site is built with semantic HTML, CSS, and a small amount of vanilla JavaScript. It is tested in current versions of mainstream browsers (for example Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Apple Safari) on desktop and mobile.

We review pages with keyboard navigation and screen readers (including NVDA on Windows and VoiceOver on Apple platforms) as part of our quality checks. Other combinations of browser and assistive technology may work; if something fails for you, tell us the device, browser, and assistive tool so we can reproduce it.

Downloads and PDFs

Where we link to PennDOT PDFs or our own PDFs, we also provide HTML summaries on the Downloads page so you can read key requirements without opening a document. If you need a form in another format, ask through Contact and we will work with you within operational limits.

Ongoing improvement

Accessibility is not a one-time project. As we add content, forms, and integrations, we will continue keyboard testing, screen reader checks, and contrast review. When we publish material changes to this statement, we will update the “Last updated” date below.
